Sherry Kay Harding Crisco

Obituary: Sherry Kay Harding Crisco, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, NC after suffering from a lengthy illness. She was born May 7, 1949 in Mecklenburg County, NC, the daughter of Beatrice Flow Williams of Midland, NC and the late Thomas F. Harding, Jr. Sherry was a 1967 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. In earlier years she did work in various positions having been as a medical assistant, hospice volunteer, and even acquired her EMT medial certification. Sherry was also a homemaker for many years of her life. Proudly, her family fondly remembers her love for helping people whatever their needs may be. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 11, 2016 at Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church, 11200 Arlington Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28227 officiated by Rev. Matt Broadway. A graveside service will be held later that day at 3:30 PM Monday at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery, 6722 Highway 218 East, Marshville, NC 28103. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church, Charlotte, NC. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband of forty-four years, Larry P. Crisco; one brother, Johnny Biggers of Ansonville, NC; one sister, Linda Thomas (Michael) of Vero Beach, FL; five nephews, Derrick Kiker, Cameron Biggers, Landon Crisco, Paul Kiker, and Douglas Gardner; and four nieces, Abbey Biggers, Evan Biggers, Abigail Crisco, and Heather Hatchel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church, Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church, and Levine & Dickson Hospice, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
