Shirley Pressley Love

Obituary: Shirley Pressley Love, 75, of Kannapolis passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. She was born December 18, 1936 in Union County, NC, the daughter of the late Bernard and Ann Baker Pressley Mangum. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Dale Utley and a sister, Betty Furr. She had formerly worked at Cannon Mills and also at Best of Care Assisted Living. She is survived by three children; Dena Utley Chappell (Greg) of Charlotte, Bobbie Utley Taylor (Steve) of Concord, David B. Fleming of Salisbury, three grandchildren; Jason Chappell, Brittany Fleming, Jonathan Taylor, and her sister, Carolyn Pressley Jolly of Chesney, SC. and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held aty Chapel officiated by Rev. Bobby Utley. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior at Whitley's.
