Obituary: Shirley Louise Fowler Stottman, 83, of Mooresville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at CHC-Northeast Medical Center, Concord following a short illness. Shirley was born May 11, 1935 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Sandy Clayton and Mary Elizabeth Pearson Fowler. She was also preceded in death by four sisters; Mary Lou, Marie, Kay and Edna, and two brothers, Jackie and Jessie. Shirley was an ordained minister and had served as a missionary in Nicaragua for seven years. She was a member of the Twin City Evangelistic Association. Prior to retirement she was an LPN at Northeast Medical Center and Brightmoor Nursing Center in Salisbury. She loved her Lord, her family and her Chihuahua "Sunshine". Family members left to cherish her memories are her husband of 63 years; Harold Robert Stuttman of the Home, one son, Tommy Stottman of Salisbury, two grandsons, Aaron and Derrick Stottman, one greatgrandson, Cody Stottman of Hawaii, brother, Bobby (Bonnie) Fowler of Mooresville, sister, Judy Fowler (Jerry) Leazer of Moresville. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Gary Posey. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. At other times they will be at the residence.
