Spiros Mavropoulos

Mr. Spiros "Steve" Mavropoulos, 86 passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.

Spiros was born in Athens, Greece on May 12, 1935 and was the only child of the late Spiros and Georgia Mavropoulos.  Spiros spent most of his life in Stedman and Fayetteville, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Mavropoulos (Seperated); sons, Marco & wife, Mackie, Dimitri & wife, Kelly, and Spiros Mavropoulos; daughters, Susan Jimenez, Angelina Sanchez & husband, Adrain, and Katarina Mavropoulos; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Spiros was an Army Veteran, and he loved to cook and he always owned or worked in the restaurant business.  He was also co owner of Airstrip Trailer Park in Stedman.

There will be no funeral service.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Johnson Family Cemetery in Stedman, NC.
