Starling Dale Efird

Starling Dale Efird, 68 of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Death was unexpected.

Starling was born March 17, 1953 in Cabarrus County, NC a son of the late Starling Daleno Efird and the late Bessie Darlene Honeycutt Efird.

Starling was employed at Cannon Mills Plt. #1, #7 twister room as a fixer until his retirement.

He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era.

He was a very kind, loving person who never met a stranger. He loved with this whole heart.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Survivors left to cherish his memory are two sons, Timothy Dale Efird and wife Jennifer of Kannapolis, and Brian Efird of Kannapolis and two step-daughters, Rose King and Ericia King.

He is also survived by his girlfriend, April King of Kannapolis and a brother, Rodney Efird and wife Angela of Concord.

Seven grandchildren also survive; Blake, Alexis, Abigail, Christian, Corey and Junior Efird and Madison Clay along with one great great grandchild, Kade.
