Obituary: Stephen Avery Poston, 21, of Concord passed away on November 21, 2014. He was born November 11, 1993 in Cabarrus County, the son of Philip Edward Poston and Angela Michelle Lowe Christy. He was employed with Rogers- Premier at US Food Services. He was a graduate of East Rowan High School. He liked to draw, weightlifting and working on cars. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry Faulkenbury. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:30 PM Saturday at Whitley's. He is survived by his father, Philip Poston (Gina) of Concord, mother, Angela Michelle Lowe Christy (Clint) of Kannapolis, sisters, Elizabeth Michelle Poston, Andrea Nicole Luttrell, grandparents, Dwight Poston (Beverly), Mary Baker (Michael), Brenda and Sonny Lowe, uncle, Robert Lowe (Alyssa) and nephew, Jaxson Stoodley.
