Susan Elaine (Lewis) Dayvault

Susan Elaine Lewis Dayvault, 72, of Kannapolis, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Susan was born on January 9, 1952 in Mecklenburg County. She was  a cherished daughter of the late James Lewis and Ruth Vickery Lewis.

Susan was a dedicated worker and compassionate animal lover. She had a special place in her heart for stray cats and birds, often spending her free time feeding and caring for them. Her kindness and generosity extended not only to her beloved pets but also to any creature in need. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, James Dayvault (Beverly); grandchildren, Krystal, Ben, and Brandon; and her sisters, Mary Jane Christian, and Barbara Brock.
