Obituary: Susie Jackson Henson, 45, of Salisbury went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2010 at her residence. Death was unexpected. She was born July 21, 1964 in Chesterfield County, SC daughter of the late Culbert W. and Voncile Poston Jackson. She was a faithful member of Redeemed Full Gospel Church in Kannapolis. She loved to garden, cook and fish. She had previously been employed by Cannon Mills Plant #4 and at Hardee's in Kannapolis. Funeral Services will be 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Wayne Hall. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence of a sister, Lucy J. Lisk, 3240 Daughtery Road, China Grove. She is survived by her companion of 20 years: Michael Wayne Morton of the Home. Godparents: Rev. Melvin and Helen Hall of China Grove. Two Daughters: Jessie Townsend and Husband Ben of China Grove. Candy Barbee and husband Mark of Kannapolis. One Son Timothy Morton and wife Julie of Kannapolis. Grandchildren: Jeremy Hilton, Brandon Barbee, Brent Barbee and Timmy Morton, Jr., two Godchildren: Neveah McGraw and Ola McGraw and husband Jason. Four Sisters: Lucy Lisk and Husband Wayne of China Grove, Lucille Watford and Husband George of Heath Springs, SC. Betty Ussery and husband Jack of Ruby SC, Bessie Foster and husband Mike of Kannapolis. Three Brothers: Robert Jackson and wife Patsy of Kannapolis, Will David Jackson and wife Gloria of Kershaw, SC and Thomas Jackson of Salisbury. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
