Mrs. Sylvia Hallman Bagby peacefully went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. She is now reunited with many of her loved ones who were there to welcome her home, including her loving husband of 56 years, Hershel Joseph Bagby. Mrs. Bagby will always be remembered for the love she expressed to her family and for her Christian character and integrity. She leaves behind an example of faith and grace for all of us to follow.

She loved attending church, praising God and singing Gospel music. Sylvia dedicated her life to taking care of her son with special needs. She made sure he had everything he needed and was the best mother to him. Sylvia enjoyed reading her Bible, sewing and making gifts for her grandchildren as they grew up. She was a generous, kind, and loving person who will dearly be missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Joseph Mark Bagby; daughter, Caramia Bagby Helms; grandchildren, Athena Crotts McCrary, Bobbie Joe Crotts, and Rosetta Helms; she was also blessed with great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
