Tammie Foy

Obituary: Tammie Suzanne Foy, 60, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 21, 2019 at her residence following a period of declining health. Tammie was born October 1, 1958 in Davidson County, NC a daughter of the late Joan Elizabeth Bodenhamer Gross and Paul Wayne Gross of Florida. She was preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Staley and her in laws; Norman Edward and Ruth Carolyn Foy. She was a member of Highest Praise Family Worship Center where she worked in the nursery for many years. In earlier years, prior to ill health; she loved the travel, especially with her family. She was also a sports enthusiast and liked to crochet. Funeral services for Mrs. Foy will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at Highest Praise Worship Center conducted by Rev. Wayne Miller. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 P.M. prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence. Family members left to cherish her memory are her husband of 39 years; Edward Foy of the Home, two sons, Edward Travis Foy of Kannapolis and Kevin Preston Foy (Brittany) of Myrtle Beach, SC, and one daughter, Crystal Rae Foy of Kannapolis. She is also survived by grandchildren; Lauren Alivia Foy, Katlyn Curl, Lillian Curl, Jackson Alexander Foy and a granddaughter expected to arrive shortly, Olivia Foy. Two nieces McKenzie and Heather also survive. Memorials may be made to Highest Praise Family Worship Center, 1700 Bostian Road, China Grove, NC 28023.
