Teresa "Terrie" Dale (Maness) Nance

Teresa “Terrie” Maness Nance, 67, of Charlotte, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Mint Hill Medical Center.

Terrie was born on August 4, 1955 in Mecklenburg Co. She was the cherished daughter of the late Alex Buster Maness and Frances Jane Eudy Maness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Reese “Trapper” Nance.

Terrie was a long-time member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She dearly loved her Sunday school class and teacher. She enjoyed watching movies and old T.V shows such as Star Trek. Terrie would never miss a monster truck show. Even if it was on during a holiday, she would tune in and watch. Her favorite restaurant was South 21 that she would visit often with her mother. Terrie was simplistic and down to Earth. She always enjoyed the little things in life and appreciated the smallest of gestures. The littlest of things always mattered to Terrie. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, David Maness (Kim); niece, Holly Hackett; cousin, Randy Eudy, and Aunt Sylvane Eudy.

The family will receive visitors at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Whitley’s Funeral Home in Kannapolis. Services will begin at 2:00 pm with Rev. John Harrill officiating. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
