In honor of a well-lived life, the family of Teri Roxann Perry is saddened, but rejoices in her homegoing. Teri, age 70, of Landis passed on Sunday, September 17 at the Tucker Hospice house after 12 years of fighting cancer.
Her family and friends will celebrate her life with a graveside service at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 20th at West Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Carl Fosdick officiating. Her family will receive friends after the service at her son, Dale’s home at 240 Woodland Drive in China Grove.
Teri was born April 27th, 1953, In Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Manuel D. and Betty Litaker Furr. In addition to her father, Teri was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Ronnie Adcock. Teri was a lifelong area resident. She grew up in the Enochville community and graduated from South Rowan High School and earned her associate degree from Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She was a longtime member of Enochville Church of God. Teri was a loving and devoted homemaker to her family and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
Teri is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald Dale “Ron” Perry, Sr. and son Ronald Dale “Dale” Perry, Jr. and his wife. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, as well as her brother Eric Dale Furr of Kannapolis and sister Toni Deloris Adcock of China Grove and her niece and nephew and 4 children collectively, as well as her favorite fur baby, Lulu.
