Terrance Raymond Shifflett

Obituary: Terrance Raymond Shifflett, 66, of Concord died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Northeast Medical Center, Concord. He was born May 1, 1947 in Norfolk County, Va. son of the late Fredrick Raymond Russell and the late Victoria Betty DeGullo Russell. Terrance was a member of Bethpage Presbyterian Church where he was an Elder of the church session and co-chair of the Christian Education Committee. He was a veteran of the US Army having served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Jean Jagusch Shifflett of the home, one son; two daughters, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Bethpage Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Ellen Campbell Gardner. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Ft. Bragg honor guard. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall from 12:30 P.M.-1:45 P.M. prior to the service. At other times they will be at the residence.
