Obituary: Terri Denise Caylor Christy, 39, of 803 North Walnut Street, died at CMC-NE on Friday, November 13, 2009. Death was unexpected. Mrs. Christy was born on April 6, 1970 in Portsmouth, VA, the daughter of Albert Hayden Caylor and Glenda Johnson Caylor. She was a teacher's assistant at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School where she was the recipient of the Teacher's Assistant Award for the year 2008-2009. She was a proud "Volunteer Parent" for the A.L. Brown Marching Band where she was affectionately known by her kids as, "Mama Christy". She is survived by her husband, Kirk Brown Christy of the home. A daughter, Katie Christy of the home, two sons, Hayden Christy and Jonathan Christy also of the home. By her parents, Albert Hayden Caylor and Glenda Johnson Caylor of Murphy, NC. Also by her twin sister, Lori Rollins of Clyde, NC and sister, Heather Padgett of Belville, NC. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Leona Caylor of Waynesville, NC.
