Terri C. Donlin

Obituary: Terri Callear Donlin, 56, of Concord, NC passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Terri was born to Don and Phylis Callear on June 22, 1957 in Waverly, NY. She graduated from Athens High School (GO BULLDOGS!) in 1975. She married Ed Donlin June 12, 1976 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Athens, PA. In March 1981, they moved to Concord, NC. After high school, Terri went to work at Ingersoll Rand for next 5 years. After moving to North Carolina, she began working at IBM and was there for 26 years. Terri's favorite hobbies included reading, golfing, knitting and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of The Club at Irish Creek where she spent warm Saturday mornings. She was also an avid New York Football Giants and Penn State fan. Terri is predeceased by her parents-in-law, Jim and Jean Donlin. She is survived by her parents, Don and Phylis Callear, Athens, PA; husband of 37 years, Ed Donlin, Concord, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsay and Mike Gorman, Charlotte, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Nancy Callear, Athens, PA; brother, David Callear, Athens, PA; sisters-in-law, Barb and Jerry Pritchard, Waverly, NY, Nancy and Joe Peterpaul, Orlando, FL, Mary and Jeff Fassett, Ulster, PA; brothers-in-law, Jack and Jill Donlin, Wesley Chapel, FL, Joey Donlin, Canton, PA, Pat Donlin, Elkridge, MD. She is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews and their families. In lieu of flowers and to honor Terri's love of birds, her family is asking memorial donations be made to the National Audubon Society, Attn: You Count x2, 225 Varick Street, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10014. A visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 followed by a memorial service at 7:00pm at Whitley's Funeral Home in Kannapolis, NC. An additional visitation will take place at Lowery's Funeral Home in Athens, PA on December 27, 2013. The visitation will be held from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
