Terry Wayne Bunn

Terry Wayne Bunn, 65, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away Monday morning, December 26, 2022, at his home, following a period of declining health.

Born November 15, 1957, in Cabarrus County, he was a son of the late Jerry Wayne and Shelvia Cannon Bunn.  In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two wives, Dava Bunn and, Kim Bunn; and his daughter, Scarlett.

Terry attended South Rowan High, where he enjoyed playing several sports.  He loved dirt track racing and always enjoyed riding his Harley, especially to bike week in Myrtle Beach. Terry was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan and was owner and operator of Terry’s Auto Sales for many years.   Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Family members include his sons, Layron Russ and Brett Bunn (Brandi); his brother, Tim Bunn; sisters, Sharon Christy and Lisa Pepper; his grandson, Daniel Walters, great granddaughter, Emma; nieces, Tiffany Pepper Guzman, Amy and Amanda Christy, his nephew, Mikey Everhart and extended family members.

A memorial service to remember and celebrate Terry’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Whitley’s Funeral Chapel, conducted by Reverend Dennis Craft. The family will speak with friends following the service at the funeral home.
