Obituary: Harrisburg, NC- Terry Wilson Fisher, age 66, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2014 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC after a recent decline in health. Terry was born April 23, 1948 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late Henry Albert Fisher and Marguerite Allen Fisher. He was a 1966 graduate of A.L. Brown High School and attended Rowan/Cabarrus College. In earlier years, Terry worked with his family at the former Bitsy Bakery in Kannapolis, NC. Later, he worked for Duke Power at the McGuire Nuclear Station. He also later owned & operated Carolina Lawn Care Specialist. He held his church membership at New Harvest Community Church in Harrisburg, NC. During the last few years, he worked as a gunsmith, his true passion. He had a true love for nature and working outdoors. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Mike Parks. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family will be at the residence the remainder of the time. Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, Dianne Hefner Fisher; three sons, Jeffrey Todd Fisher of Rockwell, NC; John Andrew Fisher & wife, Kim of Concord, NC; and Nathan Andrew Shue-Fisher and wife, Rachel of Midland, NC; two grandchildren, Justin Todd Fisher and Savannah Leigh Fisher, both of Rockwell, NC; two brothers, Michael Lynn Fisher and wife, Terry and David Lee Fisher and wife, Terry, both of Kannapolis, NC.
