Obituary: Terry Wayne House, 68, of Salisbury, NC went to be with Lord on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at his residence. He had been in declining health but death was unexpected. Terry was born May 7, 1947 in Rowan County, NC a son of the late Leon House and Beulah Lavenia Norris House Cook. He was educated in the Spencer Schools and Rowan Cabarrus Community College. Terry was owner/operator of Wholesale Auto Brokers until his retirement due to ill health. He was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed playing poker, was an avid NASCAR fan and shooting a good round of golf. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Shirley Hughes House of the home, one son, Michael House of Elkin, two daughters, Gail Possidente (John) of Granite Quarry, and Susan Faust of Harrisburg, three step-children, Steve Blevins (Rhonda) of Troutman, Tonya Shull of Florida,and Ashley Blevins of Salisbury, five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Johnny (Sue) House of Richfield, and Jerry (Cathy) House of Salisbury, and two sisters, Diane Williams of Rockwell, and Debbie (Harold) Morefield of Salisbury. The family will have a private viewing for family members on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Private interment of cremains will be at a later date in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Green Mountain, NC. At other times they family will be at the residence.
