Terry Scott Milem Jr.

Terry “Scott” Milem Jr., 54, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 surrounded by loving family.

Scott was born on July 18, 1967 in Cabarrus County to the late Terry Scott Milem Sr. and Phyllis Brown Milem, who survives.

Scott worked as a Master Electrician for over 30 years. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, where he built and installed missiles. He enjoyed fishing, collecting tools, and loved wood-working. He had a dry sense of humor that will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of  27 years, Lisa K. Milem; three sons, Nicholas Milem, Matthew Milem, and Mark Milem; mother, Phyllis Brown Milem; brother, Michael and wife Kim Milem; niece, Brittney and husband Cody Lewallen and great nephew, Pate; sister, Jennifer Pierce, and close friend Chris Overcash.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  on Saturday, July 31 at Dayspring Community Church, 490 Lentz Road China Grove. The funeral service will follow and begin at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerry Steedley and Rev. Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.
