Thomas Russell Burke

Thomas Russell Burke, 72 years old, of Charlotte, passed away on November 26, 2023.  Tom was born in Alexandria, VA on October 29, 1951, to the late Lawrence and Mary Sullivan Burke.

Tom moved from Virginia when he was 18 years old and lived in Davie, FL until 2005, when he moved with his family to North Carolina.  Tom worked hard all his life to take care of his family.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He loved to fish and bowl and was especially proud of his sobriety for the past 25 years.

Tom was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Elaine Burke in 2009 and his sister, Pamela Hannah in 2023.  Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Megan Hope Myers, Erin Kathleen Burke and Brian Thomas Burke, his grandchildren, Jordan, Britney, Christopher, Andrew, Colton, Cody, Morgan, Julian, Jaxson, Matthew and Cullen, his great granddaughter, Aria, and his brother-in-law, Stewart Hannah.
