Thomas Moucka

Obituary: Thomas Alfred Moucka, age 75, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis, NC. He was born March 4, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of the late Alfred Frank Moucka and Frances Moucka. Tom was a graduate of Will Rogers High School, Tulsa, OK. He was employed as an independent distributor with Flowers Baking Company, Albemarle, NC for many years until his retirement in 2003. Tom enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his grandkids and going to their special events. He was also an avid Carolinas Panthers fan and enjoyed other sports as well. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC officiated by his dear friend, Buck Dwiggins. The family will receive friends at the graveside after the service. Survivors include his wife of forty years, Kaye Dagenhart Moucka; his children, Brian Keith Hubbard of Albemarle, NC; Jennifer Pope (Ryan) of Stanfield, NC; Matthew Moucka of New London, NC; Thomas Moucka, Jr.; Christopher Moucka; and Cindy Rouse; his grandchildren, Grayson Pope, Braeden Pope, Holden Pope, Branson Miller; Jaxon Moucka, and Ainsley Moucka; two sisters; and his special pet dog, Frank.
