Tildon (Shorty) Milam

Obituary: Tildon Franklin "Shorty" Milam, 77, of Mooresville (Enochville) passed away on December 11, 2018 at his home. He was born November 8, 1941 in Cabarrus County, a son of the late Trace and Lois Aldridge Milam. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Milam and a step son, Raymond Sykes. He had formerly worked for Bim Hilton Construction. He was a member of Clermont Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Leon Simmons. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive prior from 10:00 to 11:30 at Whitley's. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Bernice Milam, sons, Ronnie, Michael and Eric Milam, step sons, Charles and Ray Sykes.
