Obituary: Timothy Wayne Carpenter, 66, of Kannapolis passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his home. He was born December 30, 1946 in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Ralph Eugene and Annie Pauline Phillips Carpenter. He was a self-employed painter working with Bim Hilton Construction for many years. A graveside service was held at 12:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Sunset Cemetery. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
