Timothy Wayne Goodman

Timothy Goodman, 66 of Kannapolis passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

He was born January 3, 1956 in Cabarrus Co. to the late J.T. Goodman, and Priscilla James Goodman.

Tim graduated from A.L. Brown, then joined the U.S. Air Force, he worked in the detailing department at Honda of Concord, he enjoyed going to the beach and also hockey matches, he loved bowling with his team and was an avid Tar Heels Fan.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren Jeremy McCluney Jr. and Charlotte Rose Carey.

Those left to cherish his memory, his wife of 21 years Elaine Goodman, his daughters Michelle Goodman, Christy McCluney, his sons Randy and Jason Carey, his brothers, Johnny Goodman and his wife Lori and Scottie Goodman and his wife Connie, his sister, Angela Goodman, 10 grandchildren; Braden, Ian, Tre, Genesis, Jaden, Colin, Cody, Natalye, Nathan, and Camryn.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 23, at Prince of Peace Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Overcash officiating, burial will follow at a later date at Salisbury National Cemetery.

Visitation will be an hour prior at the church from 3-4 PM.
