Timothy Anglus Hyman, 60, of China Grove, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Timothy was born on July 3, 1959 in Florence, SC to the late Marvin Eugene Hyman and Jeanette Campbell Hyman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Hyman and two brothers, Michael Hyman and Terry Hyman.
Timothy worked as a sales representative for The Flowers Group (NAPA) for 25 years. He was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks. He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed entertaining, having friends over, and was known for being the “grill master.” Always by his side were his beloved dogs, Brice and Buffy.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda Hyman; daughter, Amanda (Brent) Mincey; grandson, Gavin Mincey; brother, Bobby (Beth) Hyman; sister, Melody (Sherrell) Evans, and many nieces and nephews, who will all miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Sprinkle officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at West Lawn Memorial Park.
