Timothy "Rayvon" Lunsford

Timothy “Rayvon” Lunsford, 83 years old, of Kannapolis, went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family on December 21, 2023.  Rayvon was born on May 3, 1940, in Cabarrus County to the late Marcus and Ruby McLain Lunsford.

Rayvon’s two favorite loves in life were music and fishing.  He especially liked classic country and bluegrass music.  Rayvon also loved NASCAR and hunting when he was younger.

Rayvon was predeceased by his sister Nancy Lunsford Buffington in April 2023.  Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Robin Cannon and her husband Blake; his son, Tim Lunsford; his granddaughters, MaShanna Ball and Brittany Lollis and her husband Nick and his brother, Ronnie Lunsford.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at West Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln, Kannapolis, NC 28081 in Rayvon’s memory.
