Timothy Craig Overcash

Obituary: Timothy Craig Overcash, 59, of Concord, NC went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House, Kannapolis following a period of declining health. He was born January 12, 1954 in Cabarrus County, NC son of Harvey Gaynell Overcash and Norma Mae Fowler Overcash of Concord. Tim was a member of Midway Baptist Church of Kannapolis. He was a 1972 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. He was employed by UNC- Charlotte in HVAC maintenance for ten years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors in addition to his parents include son, Matthew Overcash of Concord, brother, Steve (Joann) Overcash of Concord, sister, Becky (Bob) Margolis of Macungie, Pa., also survived by niece, Kandi Shaul, two nephews, Chad Overcash and Zach Hurley, grand niece, Emma Shaw and grand nephew Dakota Shaw. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Rev. Marshall Brooks. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Whitley's Funeral Home prior to the funeral service. At other times they will be at the residence.
