Tommy Ray Marlowe

“Tom the Baptist”

February 28, 1954 – September 25, 2024

Tommy was born in Cabarrus County to Albert Donald Marlowe and Frances Vinson Marlowe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife (Cathy Hunter Marlowe) his son (Christopher Thomas Marlowe), a brother (Eric Marlowe) and 2 grandchildren (Lena Morgan and Carter Jones).

Tommy was a wonderful husband, father, brother and PawPaw. His survivors, who will cherish his memory, include: his loving wife (Teresa “Terri” Marlowe), 2 daughters (Michele Harrington and Marie Reynolds), 2 stepsons (Thomas and Patrick Jones), 2 brothers (Phillip and Michael Marlowe), 9 grandchildren (Christopher, Andrea, Mackenzie, Cameron, Pyper, Grace, Benjamin, Austin and Anissa) and 6 great-grandchildren (Brooklynne, Calynne, Cameron, Crislynne, Josiah and Kingzton).

Tommy had a positive impact on everyone he met. He loved serving at Faith Baptist Church in any capacity. He was a Sunday School teacher (Ambassadors), an avid soul winner and a help to anyone in need. Tommy loved Duke basketball and football, Dodgers baseball, fishing, and panning for gold. Most importantly, Tommy loved his Lord, Jesus Christ.
