Tommy Reid Threadgill, Jr.

Obituary: Tommy Reid Threadgill, Jr., age 35, of Salisbury went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his residence. Tommy was born January 3, 1982 in Columbia, SC the son of the late Connie Irene McCullen and Tommy Reid Threadgill Sr. of China Grove. He attended school in China Grove. Tommy worked for Elite Fire Control as a pipe fitter "Sprinkler Man" and foreman. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and he loved animals. What he loved the most was his wife, children and family. Preceding him in death was his birth mother Connie Irene McCullen and grandfather Jack Clifton McCullen. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Tamika S. Threadgill whom he married April 22, 2017; children Tommy Reid Threadgill III, Christian Scott Wheeler and Rylee Darlene Wheeler; father Tommy Reid Threadgill Sr.; mother Judy Ann Mesimer and Alex; sisters Angie Michelle Jones and Amber Nicole Threadgill; brother Kevin Ray Threadgill; paternal grandparents James Ray Threadgill and Ann Threadgill maternal grandmother Helen Fink McCullen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11:00 - 1:00 PM Sunday, October 22, at Whitley's Funeral Home with service to follow at 1:30 PM at Whitley's Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev.
