Tonda Brown Troglin

Obituary: Tonda Brown Troglin 55, of Kannapolis passed away on Monday June 30, 2014 at CMC-NorthEast. Her death follows a brief illness. Tonda was born in Mecklenburg County on November 4, 1958 a daughter of the late Harold Leon and Carolyn Jean Smith Brown. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Troglin Jr. who passed away October 28, 2013, and a brother, Timothy Brown. A memorial service to celebrate Tondas life will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Marlin Mogusu officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the services. Tonda was formerly employed as a paralegal and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by daughters; Krista Troglin and fiancé Jason Brown Sr. of the home, and Brittany Lynch of Kannapolis, a son Billy J. Troglin III of the home, grandchildren; Jason Brown Jr., Reese Brown, and Braelyn Brown, a brother; Carroll Brown and fiancé Alexa Alexander of Kannapolis, sisters; Sharon Owens and husband Todd of Kannapolis, Lisa Thomas and Husband Roger of Indian Trail, Lisa Holmes of Concord, and Betty Brown and husband Larry of Sherrill's Ford.
