Tony Willis Holloway

Obituary: Kannapolis, NC- Tony Willis Holloway, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at his home. He was born September 27, 1961 in Cabarrus County, NC, the son of the late Howard Willis Holloway and Ellen Viola Jenkins Holloway. Tony was employed as a carpenter having worked in construction for thirty years. His family fondly remembers his love of fishing and talking with family and friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Joe Holloway. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Congregational Holiness Church, 717 Robin Avenue, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Earl Hardin. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends Friday evening at the home of his sister, Lisa Cornejo, 314 Bonnie Lane, China Grove, NC. Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, Frances Furr Holloway; his son, Anthony W. Holloway of Kannapolis, NC; his two daughter, Samantha Holloway Smith of Troutman, NC and Crystal H. Dickerson of Mooresville, NC; four grandchildren; three brothers; and five sisters. Memorials may be made to Congregational Holiness Church, 717 Robin Avenue, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
