Obituary: Mr. Tony Allen Linker "Paw Paw ", 71, of Concord, passed away December 18, 2015, at the Tucker Hospice House after an extended illness. He was born August 2, 1944 in Cabarrus County to the late Lewis Brown Linker and the late Helen Bernice Allen Hinson. Tony worked as a supervisor at the McGuire Nuclear Plant, he liked to fly his drones and enjoyed large model air planes, and old cars. He was a member of Stokes Masonic Lodge # 32 of Concord. Family members left to cherish his memories are his wife, Pat B. Linker and daughter Connie L. Kelly of Concord, step son Gregory D. Williams (Wanda) of Salisbury, one brother Ronnie Linker (Peggy) of Kannapolis. Three sisters, Sherry Potts (Joe) of Florida, Lunda Furr (Lance) and Vickie Hinson, both of Concord. Two grandsons Steven Wayne Kelly and Garret Heath Kelly, six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday December 23, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Bushey officiating. The family will receive friends and guests from 1:00 until 2:15 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
