Van Steven Pless, 71, of Rockwell Passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan.
He was born June 14, 1949 in Topeka, KS to the late Van Page Pless and Wihelmina Bower Pless.
Steve was a U.S. Army Veteran Serving during Vietnam War. He retired as a welder at IPS. He loved fishing and loved his pets.
He was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Pless.
Those left to cherish his memory, his wife of 37 Years Judy Reid Pless, one brother Richard ”Rick” Pless of Kannapolis, nephew, Lonnie Page, and niece Wendy Pless.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 14, at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Weatherby officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park with Military Honors.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home.
