Vic Alan Mullis, 65, of the Enochville community, passed peacefully into Life Everlasting on Monday July 8, 2024, with his wife LuAnne at his side while holding each other’s hand.
Vic was a member of Bethpage UMC and had been a member of and served as Treasurer for the Methodist Men Service and fellowship groups. Vic worked as a plumber and well pump technician. His interests and hobbies included fishing, chess, grilling, cooking and politics.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gile and Colene Benton Mullis, his stepmother Audrey Mullis, brother, Mark Mullis and his nephew Benjamin J. Mullis, two stepsons that he considered his sons, Jonathan B. and Jacob T. Hall and a very special Marine Lance Corporal Rory A. Miller.
Surviving are his wife and lifetime friend, LuAnne Fesperman Mullis, his brothers, Reid and Edwin Mullis (Debbie), 5 nephews and 3 great nieces. Also surviving are his four step children, Matthew and Curtis Hall and Lynn H. Smith and Shirley H. Metcalf, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren with the fourteenth Jacob due to arrive in September.
Donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors or DAV are welcomed, along with any charity supporting the youth and children of America.
The family will receive friends on Saturday July 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 PM in the Whitley’s Funeral Home Annex Chapel.
