Obituary: Vickie Brazeal Cook, 43, of China Grove died Monday, November 14, 2011 at Bob & Carolyn Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis following a brief illness.Vickie was born on February 29, 1968 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Vernon R. and Audrey Marney Brazeal. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 8 siblings. She was a member of Sloan Lake Community Church, and for the past ten years has been employed by CMC-NE as a Patient Account Representative. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Dr. Zachary L. Sizemore and Rev. Daniel R. Russ officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Thursday prior to the services.She is survived by 2 daughters, Casey Grunden (Chris) of Kannapolis, and Jenny Cook of China Grove, a son Berry Cook Jr. of Kannapolis, a grandson, Isaac Grunden, and 3 sisters, Virginia Allen (Robert) of Texas, Lue Troxell of Florida and Barbara Brown (Kevin) of Missouri.The family suggest memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC. 28081Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
