Obituary: Vickie Jane Lancaster Martin, 69 of Mt. Pleasant, NC died on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at CHS - NorthEast in Concord, NC. Death was unexpected. Vickie was born on Sep. 20, 1948 in Cabarrus Co., NC, daughter of the late William Henry Lancaster and the late Margaret Evelyn Brock Lancaster. Vickie had retired from Cabarrus Co. School System. She had a tremendous love and passion for "the farm", taking care of her horses and other farm animals. Survivors include her three children; Christy Bass (Steve), Stephanie Randall (Kenneth) and Steve Barnhardt; her eight loving grandchildren; Ransome, Dakota, Wesley, Dillon, Kayley, Conner, Madison and Steven; her great-granddaughter; Raelyn. She is also survived by her five siblings; Shirley Hathcock, Larry Lancaster, Judy Talbert, Brenda Lewis and her twin brother, Alan Lancaster. The service for Vickie will take place at 3:30 pm, Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Steve Goode. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park.
