Vickie Jett Patterson

Obituary: China Grove, NC- Vickie Jett Patterson, age 61, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at her home after years of declining health. She was born July 27, 1949 in Robertson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elmore Garrett Jett and Garnet Mae Garrison Jett. She was employed as a security guard until her retirement due to ill health. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Joel Nelson Patterson and a brother, Billy Quinton Jett. The funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Survivors include her fiancé, Clifford Young; two daughters, Lisa Haire of Salisbury, NC and Paula Jane Markwell of the home; one brother, Paul Daniel Jett of Sunrise, KY; one sister, Connie Jane Ogden of Paris, KY; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
