Vickie (Sanders) Powell

Vickie Sanders Powell 59, of Kannapolis, N.C.  went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday February 9, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born April 2, 1961 in Cabarrus County to the late James Marvin Sanders and Margie Marie Yates Sanders.

Vickie enjoyed country and gospel music, talking with family and friends and just relaxing at home. She loved and relished playing and spending time with her dogs, cats and a being with her family.

Family members that will cherish memories and time spent with Vickie are her husband Gary Dale Powell of the home.  Mary Ann Foley Sanders (Mom ). Her Daughters Jatana Sanders and Rhonda Fink of Enochville, and her son Shaun ( Candis ) Chaffin of Mocksville. Grand children Christopher McDermont (Kala), Kaeleigh McDermont , Bryan Fink, Josh Chaffin, Aleigh Chaffin, Logan Chaffin and Cianna Colf.

Services for Vickie will be at a future date.
