Vickie (Loftis) Robbins

Vickie Loftis Robbins, 69, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2023 at Autumn Care of Cornelius following a period of declining health.

Vickie was born October 29, 1953 in Wayne County, Michigan, a daughter of the late Larmon Clyde Loftis and Mary Elizabeth Garrison Loftis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Hugh Robbins who died January 20, 2021.

In early life she was a secretary for the US Department of Engineers, but most of her life she spent as a homemaker.

She enjoyed reading the cards friends had sent to her over the years.

Family members left to cherish her memory include two brothers, Ted Loftis (Gayle), Randall Loftis, and sister Betty Robinson (Richard) all of Cookeville, Tenn. Along with a brother-in-law, Lamont Robbins and wife, Karen of Vancouver, Washington.

Funeral services to celebrate Vickie’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Adam Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Vickie’s memory may be made to Concord Church of Christ, 4595 Poplar Tent Road, Concord, NC 28027.
