Virginia "Dianne" (Hefner) Fisher

Virginia “Dianne” Fisher, 72, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Novant Health-Presbyterian Medical Center after a short illness. She was born January 7, 1952, to the late J.D. Hefner and Sadie Query Hefner in Cabarrus County, NC.

Dianne graduated Central Cabarrus High School and earned an Associate Degree from Western Piedmont Community College. Dianne worked as a dental assistant in numerous dental offices in the area over the years. Dianne enjoyed spending time with her family, animals of all types, reading mystery novels, and gardening.

Those to cherish Dianne’s memories include her son, Nathan (Rachel) Shue; her sister, Linda (John) Lentz; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 28 years, Terry Fisher.

Graveside service for Dianne will be on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Carolina Memorial Park in the Fountain section. Deacon Liz Fisher will be officiating.
