Vivian (Hamilton) Mcintyre

Vivian Hamilton McIntyre, 96, of Kannapolis passed away October 30, 2021 at Accordius Health of Salisbury.  She was born August 27, 1925 in Kimberly, Alabama, a daughter of the late Roy Earl Hamilton and Nora Lee Hamilton.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace (Red) McIntyre in 2002.

Vivian Had worked at Cannon Mills for over 38 years. She was a member of Kannapolis Church of God where she was a former member of the Lydia Circle. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music. Vivian also enjoyed sewing and doing needlework. She was a graduate of Landis High School Class of 1943.

Vivian’s service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Annex Chapel officiated by Dr. Greg Sloop. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends prior from 12:00  to 1:00 PM at Whitley’s Annex Chapel.

Vivian is survived by her sons, Steve McIntyre of Denver, NC, Rodger McIntyre of Tuscon, Az., her daughter, Olivia Nichols of Winnsboro, SC, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother, Charles Hamilton of Knoxville, Tn. and many nieces and nephews.
