Obituary: Walter Morris Gullet, 86, of Landis passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his home. He was born March 8, 1931 in Davie County, a son of the late Alexander and Ethel Whitlock Gullet. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Faron Morgan. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior at Whitley's. Walter is survived by his wife, Margaret Caldwell Gullet, two children, Debbie Horn (Mike) of China Grove, Barry Gullet (Marcy) of Charlotte, three grandchildren, Michael Faggart (Cheryl), Rebecca Sanchez (Rick), Gabe Gullet, 2 great grandchildren, Alexander and Emory Sanchez and a sister, Marie Turner.
