Wendall Howard

Wendall Howard, 90, of Kannapolis passed away June 3, 2024. He was born August 21, 1933 in Cherokee County, NC, a son of the late George William Howard and Cora Lambert Howard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Howard.

Wendall retired from Public Service Company after many years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, birdwatching and the deer that frequented his yard nightly.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 7, 2024 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Willy Pore.

Wendall is survived by his son, Kirk Howard (Carmen), grandson, Ashton Howard (Emily), great grandson, Aemon Howard, sister, Carmelita Wagner, 3 nephews and 1 niece.
