Obituary: Wendy Rhae Wieland Gainey 45, Kannapolis died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at her residence. Her death was unexpected. Wendy was born August 23, 1965 in Fairfax, VA., the daughter of William Wieland Sr. of Chantilly, VA. and Joann Dameron of Clearwater, Florida. She was a weigh master for Cabarrus County Solid Waste Dept.Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home main chapel with Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.In addition to her parents, Wendy is survived by her husband Tony John Gainey, 2 sons, Johnathon Rhae Gainey of the home, and Patrick John Gainey (Victoria) of Kannapolis, a daughter, Christina Marie Hodges (Michael) of Sicily, 3 grandchildren, Aeryn Joann Lynn Hodges, Conner John William Hodges, and Sage Haven Rhae Gainey, a brother, Billy Wieland of Clearwater, Florida, and a sister Michelle Nicely of Roanoke, VA.Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
