William Russell Adams

William Russell “Rusty” Adams, 54, of Kannapolis, lost his life to cancer Wednesday evening, February 2, 2022.

Born May 31, 1967, in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Ralph Russell and Geraldine Combs Adams. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tim Cabe.

Russell loved all of his family, his work family at Pasture Management, and his friends. Having never met a stranger, he would do anything to help anyone. Russell enjoyed his classic cars, going to cruise-ins, playing his guitars, singing, hunting and fishing. He loved his fur babies. Gone too soon, Russell will be greatly missed by his family, his friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Loving family members include his devoted wife, Theresa Adams; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon Cabe, Kim Isenhour (David) and Angie Love (Jamie); nieces, Leigh Beddingfield, Amber Knighton and Reagan Love; step daughters, Samantha Starnes (Joey), and their children, Dalton and Zoe and Jessica Godwin; Mawmaw, Meemaw and Steve Seabolt; sister-in-law, Brandy Carmikle (Rocky); brother-in-law, Blane Tarleton (Tonya) and numerous great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Russell’s life will be held at a later date.
