William Todd Atwell

Obituary: William "Todd" Atwell, 41, of 2005 Hwy 152 W., China Grove, NC died at Rowan Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Todd was born January 24, 1968 in Cabarrus County , the son of William Earl Atwell and Sylvia Freeze Atwell of China Grove. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Crystal Davis Atwell of the home. Daughters: Carrie Jo Atwell, Harley Anna Atwell and a son, Darryl Liston Atwell all of the home. Grandchildren: Emma Grace Goodman and Addison Hope Atwell. Brother: Rodney Atwell and Sister: Kimberly Atwell, both of China Grove. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Safrit officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:30-5:00PM at Whitley's Funeral Home. At other times the family will be at the family home. Todd was a 1986 graduate of South Rowan High School. He was employed a J & J Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman loving hunting and fishing. He dearly loved his wife and children, especially his grandchildren.
