Obituary: William Junior "Dike" Davis, 82, of Kannapolis died Thursday, November 19, 2014 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord. He was born November 4, 1926 in Wilkes County, NC. He was employed by Cannon Mills for many years in the carding room. Dike was a member of Ben Avenue Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by Evelyn Kenton Davis , one daughter, Libby Davis of China Grove and a niece, Shelia Deal. Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Rev. Don Draughn. The family will receive friends immediately prior to the service.
