William Griffin

Obituary: William Thomas Griffin, 75, of China Grove passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017. He was born December 16, 1941 in Kannapolis, a son of the late Ernest and Nellie Sullivan Griffin. He was preceded by a sister, Louise Fritts and a brother, Everett Griffin. Thomas retired from Duke Power and Flour Daniel as an environmental engineer. He was a graduate of NC State University. He was a member of Grace Covenant Church. He was a veteran of the US Army. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2017 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Glenn Weatherby III. He is survived by a sister, Pauline Reynolds, brother, Hubert Griffin (Clara), nephews, Jeff Fritts (Donna), Eric Reynolds (Lynn), Greg Reynolds, nieces, Paulette McEver (Tom), Linda Long, Kelly Griffin and a sister in law, Johnsie Mungo.
