William Howard "Bill" Honeycutt

William “Bill” Howard Honeycutt, 65, of Kannapolis went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 6, 2024 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.

Bill was born on June 15, 1959 in Cabarrus County to the late Howard F. Honeycutt and the late Frances Telitha Clontz Honeycutt.  He was a 1976 graduate of Northwest Cabarrus High School. Bill was dedicated to his work and served as a manager for many years at Pepsi Co, and S&D Coffee prior to his most recent role in inside and outside sales at Petter Supply Co where he felt most at home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his Wife of 30 years Melissa D. Honeycutt, Daughters; Sherri Fay (Mike) of St. Johns FL, and Holly Rabon (Eric) of China Grove NC, Grandchildren; Marissa, Chad, Nick, Madison and Nate, Siblings; Howard Honeycutt Jr., Roger Thomas, Pamela James, Mike Honeycutt, Richard Honeycutt, Theresa Pasek and Randy Honeycutt, along with a large extended family.

Bill had a love of cars and motorcycles. He could fix anything, and he loved working on vehicles with his grandchildren. He was a Ford man with Mustangs being his favorite.  Bill loved gospel music and enjoyed playing his bass guitar. He also sang and played bass for the praise and worship team at his church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather but above all else was his unwavering love for Christ.  He loved sharing the gospel and never missed an opportunity to minister to someone.  The day before his passing, he had Bible Study with his grandkids as he did nearly every week through facetime.

The family will receive friends on Saturday July 13, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Hope Chapel Church, 1540 Old Earnhardt Road, Kannapolis NC 28083, with the Celebration of his life service beginning at 2:00 PM with Bishop Brian Rabon officiating.  Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park immediately following the service.
