William Bill Coleman Pence

Obituary: It is with heavy hearts we must announce the death of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, William ‘Bill' Coleman Pence. Bill passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 8th, 2011 at Northeast Medical Center in Concord, NC. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Bill was born in Frankfort, KY on April 24th 1932 and spent time in both Colorado and North Carolina before retiring from IBM there in 1989. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 yrs, Jane Pence; Stephen and Lissa Pence, Gregory and Traci Pence, Timothy and Karen Pence; and his six grandchildren Katie, Taylor, McKenna, Jillian, Christopher, and Alexander Pence, as well as many other family and friends whom he loved dearly. A service in his memory will be held at the Kannapolis Church of Christ at 2315 Concord Lake Rd., Concord, NC, Thursday, February 10th, 2011 at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kannapolis Church of Christ.
